Salt is the first mobile Light that is completely designed for people's well-being. With its sculptural form and the new Sunset Dimming light feature, the holistic redesign of the Salt & Pepper mobile luminaire plays with the Width spectrum of the sun and brings the sunset into every life situation.

The warm Light of Salt naturally increases the production of the sleep hormone melatonin and thus has a demonstrably calming effect on the human body. The Sunset Sleep function is an active sleep program that soothes and relaxes the user to sleep. It activates a timer that starts the Light automatically dims and switches off after 30 minutes. In this way, Salt promotes sleep and the well-being of the user.

Salt is designed for the individual needs of the human body. The innovative Sunset Dimming light feature from GRAU offers the Width spectrum of sunlight: from bright afternoon light (2700 K) to the late evening glow (1300 K) - unique for a mobile luminaire - Sunset Dimming creates a feeling of well-being and closeness. Using the Magic Button on the newly designed underside of the luminaire, the Light color can be set in three curated light curves. Users can choose between Sunset Orange Light, Golden Light and Neutral Light. The unique light spectrum enables the right atmosphere for the desired mood and creates calming moments, especially in the evening.

The design of the smart mobile luminaire has been fully optimized for Salt. Its aluminum body with ultra-touch-sensitive head has become even more delicate and agile. Its underside now rests on a rubberized base, which allows it to be placed comfortably and silently. The lampshade has been given a matt finish and creates an improved 360° illumination of the light.

The fine but highly resistant powder skin Surface has an elegant appearance and makes the luminaire robust, colorful and free of any harmful substances. Salt can also be used in the bedroom or bathroom without hesitation. The battery performance has been improved by 50% - and now enables 150 hours of average use. The battery charging time has been halved to 2 hours. With 450 lumens of light output, Salt is by far the most powerful rechargeable table lamp on the market. The lamp can be easily charged via the modern USB-C port on the side and the smart LED indicates the remaining battery life. With sustainability in mind, Salt has been designed so that its battery can be easily replaced in just a few simple steps.
