GRAU launches the new Sun luminaire and brings the sun into your home. The Hamburg lighting brand GRAU presents its first new product since the rebranding last fall. Sun is a minimalist pendant luminaire with a precisely curated light spectrum called Sunset Dimming, which brings the sunset into the room.

The artist duo Timon and Melchior Grau, CEOs and creative directors of GRAUdeveloped the Sun pendant light from the Bonfire sculpture, which was first exhibited at the Bergen Kunsthall in Norway in 2022. The artistic exploration of the perception of Light in the context of immersive sculpture led to the development of the Sun product, which brings the atmosphere of a sunset into the home.

The integrated Light Sunset Dimming feature offers an intelligent dimming curve that simultaneously Light color and intensity of clear Lightto golden Light to a deep sunset orange. This progression interprets the warmth and emotion of the sunset and makes it tangible. The new light function uses a completely new spectrum of light colors and can be controlled via the brand's own GRAU app can be controlled.
